International Tax Review (ITR) is a  respectable establishment that creates resources to the corporations and persons that perform auditing and consulting services either independently, or as a company, at national or international level, through books, commentaries or news, in the area of tax law. As a tradition, ITR grants the tax consulting firm of the year award each year, by examining the works performed by the  candidate firms, that apply, and by determining the  firm that is worthy of award, on country basis. The firms that are entitled to the awards, are determined as the  result of the negotiations conducted between a panel consisting of the members of the Tax Executives Institute's European Chapter, and the ITR editors.

The winners of the awards for 2008, were determined as the result of the evaluation of the applicants from 24 countries, that included Austria, United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany, France besides Turkey.

The awards were presented to the winners during a ceremony that was held in the Dorchester Hotel in London, participated by 300 top  level participants, consisting of the leading tax consultants of Europe and the representatives of internatioınal firms.

Besides Erdikler, 9 other members of the Taxand international tax network were entitled to award as as the tax consulting firm in their counry.
